1. Agreement
By downloading or using HGV Driver Companion for iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac or Android ("the app") you agree to these terms and, for apps from the App Store, to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and for apps from Google Play, to the Google Play Terms of Service. The app is provided by AnnMar Limited, company number 16014219 ("we", "us").
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app.
3. HGV account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep access to your email or Apple / Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can export or delete your account at any time in Settings → Account (how). We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service.
4. Free and Premium features
Shift logging, live shift and break reminders, today's limits, the calendar, driver card import and compliance checks are free. Premium unlocks timesheets and pay, the weekly view, the infringements report, the documents wallet, the holiday planner and more through an auto-renewable subscription. One subscription works on all your devices signed in to the same account where the store allows it.
5. Subscriptions
- Premium is available monthly (£2.99) or yearly (£19.99) in the UK. Local prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancel any time: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Refunds: App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple decides); Google Play purchases under the Google Play refund policy.
6. Your responsibilities
- Do not use the app while driving.
- Keep your entries accurate. Results are only as good as the data entered or read from your card.
- You remain responsible for complying with drivers' hours rules, working time rules and your employer's policies.
7. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, AnnMar Limited is not liable for fines, penalties, lost earnings or decisions made on the basis of the app's calculations. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Intellectual property
HGV Driver Companion, its name, design and software are the property of AnnMar Limited.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update the app and these terms; the date at the top will change. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
