This policy covers the WebP Pro Converter website at annmarstudio.co.uk/webp and the WebP Pro Converter apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The controller is ANNMAR LIMITED (company no. 16014219), 111 Bedford Way, Scunthorpe, DN15 8GF, United Kingdom, info@annmarlimited.co.uk.
Your images
Images are converted on your own device — in your browser on the website, and inside the app on iPhone, iPad and Mac. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them.
What the website stores in your browser
- Your converter settings (format, quality, resize) and your savings statistics.
- A counter of free conversions used today.
- If you buy credits: a random code (credit token) that links this browser to your credit balance.
This is stored with your browser's local storage, only on your device. We use no cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking.
Purchases on the website
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. as an independent controller for payment data (card details never reach us). From Stripe we receive the checkout ID, amount, currency, payment status and, if you give it, your email for the receipt. Our payment server, hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., keeps the checkout ID, the credit token and the number of credits left. Legal basis: performance of a contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation for accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c)). We keep purchase records for 6 years as UK tax law requires; the credit balance is kept until the credits are used up and then for 12 months.
The apps
The apps work fully offline. They have no account and collect no data. Settings and statistics stay on your device. Purchases in the apps are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
Children
The service is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email info@annmarlimited.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We will post any change here with a new date and version.
